Delete your account
Last updated - June 9, 2026How to request deletion
Account deletion is requested inside the DBPort app. This web page explains the process but does not collect deletion requests.
- Open DBPort on a device signed in to your account.
- Go to Settings, Account, Delete account.
- Confirm the action with Face ID, device passcode, or your app PIN if enabled.
- The app signs you out and schedules deletion with a 7-day cool-down.
If you cannot access the app, email [email protected] from the email address on your DBPort account. We will verify account ownership before scheduling deletion.
What gets deleted
- Your authentication record and account profile.
- Active DBPort sessions and registered sync devices.
- Push notification tokens linked to your account.
- Encrypted sync records and sync metadata we hold for you.
- AI usage counters and account-linked support metadata.
What stays untouched
- Your databases and database servers.
- Local app data on a device until you delete it or uninstall DBPort.
- Your Master Password and recovery code, which DBPort never had.
- Your App Store or Google Play subscription until you cancel it in the store.
Timeline
- Day 0 - you confirm deletion in the app and deletion is scheduled.
- Days 1-7 - cool-down. Contact support if you need to cancel deletion.
- Day 7 - account records and sync blobs are erased from active systems.
- After deletion - operational backups and security logs expire on their normal retention schedules.
